Canoes are available to hire on the river Wye for half day, full day or multiple days. Safety equipment, waterproof barrels and pick up at the end of your journey are provided free.fgxjfx

Canoes will generally take 2 adults or 2 adults plus 1 child, we do have several 3 seaters available.

Prices

Half day per person £17.50

Full day per person £25.00

Trips generally start from Glasbury or Hay-on-Wye and are subject to suitable weather conditions and river levels.

A fun outdoor team and group activity.

Teambuilding on the banks of the beautiful river Wye , we will split you into teams, give each team a number of components then tell you to go construct. When you have created a craft you are happy will carry your whole team safely we will get on the water for fun and games. You will be presented with a number of challenges and expect to get wet.

Raft building can be just a fun activity or with a more serious content incorporated in a team development program.

This is a half day activity.

£35 per person

Learn how to be safe and confident on the hills. An introduction to the skills necessary to cope with the ever changing conditions found on our hills. This is geared towards summer conditions only. Working in the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons we will cover ;

• Navigation – Map reading and compass work
• Clothing and equipment
• Route planning

Emergency procedures and basic ropework

The basics can be covered in a day but are more suited to 2 days.

Kayaking and Canoeing

British Canoe Union Star Awards.

B.C.U One Star – A flat water award teaching basic boat control and foundation skills. Can be taken in Canoe or Kayak.

B.C.U Two Star – An improvement award that helps paddlers develop fundamental paddling skills on flat water. Can be taken in Canoe or Kayak.

B.C.U Three Star – Successful performance in this level will indicate you are a competent performer in sheltered to moderate water environments and have the ability to paddle unsupervised with similar standard paddlers in sheltered water.

On successful completion of each star award you will receive a certificate.

Caving and potholing as an outdoor activity in the Brecon Beacons and South Wales is some of the finest in the UK.

Underground passages and cavernous caverns – waiting for you to explore them since the dawn of time. We can suit all levels of fitness and ability and will kit you out in helmet, lamp and protective clothing. Our experienced and qualified leaders will be there as you witness amazing rock formations including lots of those things that go up and those other things that go down. You may be nervous to start with – but go for the challenge and you won’t regret it. Full day or half day combined with a Gorge Adventure Walk in the same area. Teambuilding – this is a good environment for teamwork with a chance to take a leading role

Wye valley gorges and National Park limestone crags and quarries. Top- roped, single-pitch climbing. All activities under the close supervision of our qualified and experienced instructors. They’ll take you through a complete explanation of equipment, rope techniques and safety procedures. You’ll get the chance to belay and abseil down (also available on its own as a half-day activity). A great introduction to the pleasure and thrills of rock climbing

An ideal activity for all ages and abilities.

Have fun and learn the skill of archery under the close supervision of our qualified instructors.

Archery can be taken on its own as a half day activity or incorporated into our team challenge programme.

A coastal alternative to the ever popular gorge adventure.

Rock scrambling, cliff jumps and when it becomes impossible to stay on the rocks its time to challenge the waves and swim for it.

We use the Gower in S.W.Wales and the Pembrokeshire coast in W.Wales and each location offers its own challenges.

Our routes and activities will be geared to the groups abilities to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip..

£50 per person

For one person only, gives you close contact with the water and more personal control. You will be given instruction on basic control before undertaking a trip downriver.

Skills days can also be arranged to improve and develop your techniques

Interactive Challenge

A great way to develop teamwork and enjoy yourself at the same time. Mentally and physically stimulating, it will make you aware of effective teamwork, communication, motivation and decision making. Suitable for full or half days this involves a number of timed objectives involving problem solving and physical activities.
