A similar day to kayaking with instruction in the morning and a trip downriver in the afternoon. Generally more stable than a kayak a canadian canoe generally takes 2 people.

Take a few days and stay overnight by the river camping or in B and B’s. We would be happy to help you organise your trip.

Canoe Hire

Canoes are available to hire on the river Wye for half day, full day or multiple days.

Safety equipment, waterproof barrels and pick up at the end of your journey are provided free.

Canoes will generally take 2 adults or 2 adults plus 1 child, we do have several 3 seaters available.

Full day per person £20

Trips generally start from Glasbury-on-Wye or Hay-on-Wye.

Canoes will be hired subject to river levels and weather conditions being suitable.
